 * Our Mission & Club Info
The Central Jersey Bird Club has a long-standing and unwavering commitment to excellence in aviculture. Our primary goals are education and support for avian research and conservation. To gather information and share it with all who desire to promote the health and welfare of all avian species, particularly those that are kept or bred as pets and identified as endangered species.

CJBC was founded in 1991 by Alice and George Luchento, bird enthusiasts for many years. It serves Somerset, Union and Middlesex counties, but has members from other areas as well. We currently have about 150 active members and are growing all the time.
